We started with him wondering how hit a tennis serve, to understanding basic concepts to having a powerful tennis serve.

Many tennis players struggle with their tennis serves and Javier was no different. The only difference between Javier and most other people is that he went out and found a coach to help him improve his tennis serve. We spent six months off the court in a basement doing shadow swings, holding certain positions throughout the tennis serve and hitting into a net.

Our goal was to change over seven years of muscle memory to improve Javiers tennis serve. Over 6 months and around 24 total hours of practice on the tennis serve, Javier has been able to come close to Roger Federers tennis serve. There are still a few things that Javier can work on to keep taking his tennis serve to the next level, but this video is a testimonial to what the right kind of training can do to a tennis players game..
